African cooking and food tasting in the Reception/Nursery class.
We have had a wonderful day as part of our Africa week. We have tasted lots of different foods including mango, corn, sweet potato, pineapple, cous cous, rice, bananas and oranges. We then enjoyed our cookery sessions making a tasty vegetable African rice, which most of us thought was delicious and very sweet coconut baked bananas, which unfortunately didn't go down well as we all thought they were too sweet! Lots of tasty treats!!! A big thank you to Mrs Sayce who did a fantastic job as head chef!
